Preliminaries

We decided to put in a pond for a variety of reasons. Because of customer recommendations we chose Premier Ponds, LLC, in Burtonsville, MD.

The owner of the company, Steve Shinholser, paid us a visit and educated us on the Aquascape Designs natural water gardens and the ecosystem it created. We had many questions about construction and maintenance of the water features he created.

We provide the following photo journal to help you understand the pond building process. As you will see, Steve and his crew did a fantastic transformation job.

This is the BEFORE view from the back corner of our lot towards the bay window and deck. The electrician has been at work putting in the outlet for the pump and lights.
